Orijin gets non-alcoholic variant- Guinness Nigeria

Guinness Nigeria has announced the launch of its new Orijin variant, theOrijin Zero Non-alcoholic Orijin drink, aimed at meeting the needs of non-alcoholic consumers in that market segment.
Describing the product as another innovation coming from the company’s stables,  its Marketing Director, Mr Obinna Anyalebechi stated that the idea to come up with Orijin Zero Non-alcoholic drink was informed by the need to also cater for the needs of consumers, desirous of the bitter-sweet taste of the drink, without its alcoholic content.
He expressed the determination of the company to ensure that the new product is sold at the prescribed price in the open market, noting that one of the ways of ensuring this is to put a price tag on the cans as a way of making sure that they are not sold above the recommended retail price.
According to him, the Orijin Non-Alcoholic drink, which is a product of consumer insight, would go a long way in further boosting the profile of the company as an organization desirous of always ensuring that consumers get value for their hard-earned funds.
‘This is another innovation coming from us. For instance, when we came up with the Orijin drink, the drinks market was caught unawares, a development that resulted in that huge acceptance of the drink by consumers in that segment, because of its uniqueness and the innovation that goes with it.
“Today, we’ve decided to take it a bit further because we realised we were living out a sizable number of consumers who would have preferred the drink, without its alcoholic content. With, the new Orijin, the consumers’ array of choices has been further widened,” he stated.

ORIJIN ZERO inherits the unique quality of the Orijin Trademark with natural African extracts for a unique vibrant and refreshing taste and comes in two formats to accommodate various shopper needs – recommended retail price of only N90/bottle and N100/can.

Obasanjo's Plans for ING

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has set his mind on regime change “by fair or foul means” and is plotting to plunge Nigeria into crisis, presidential spokesman Reuben Abati has said. He was reacting to statements credited to Obasanjo on Saturday that President Goodluck Jonathan was plotting to win the 2015 general election by “hook or crook”. Obasanjo had endorsed Jonathan’s main challenger Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday, but then seemed to backtrack on Thursday. There are insinuations that Obasanjo is not well disposed to Buhari either and would want an interim national government (ING) to be headed by him to midwife new elections in which neither Jonathan nor Buhari would be candidates.

My prayer was that as a seasoned General you would not only flush out king pins and barons but retrieve the loot as you napped them one after the other but we see them working for you. Is th...
