Falae’s Kidnap: Fulani Group Sends Final Warning To Fani-Kayode

A Fulani socio-cultural association, Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore yesterday sent a final warning to former minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-kayode over insult on the Fulani race. National president of the association, Alhaji Bello Abdullahi Bodejo gave the warning after consultation with the South-West organisations’ leaders in Abuja. According to Bodejo, Fani-Kayode have earlier described all the Fulani herdsmen as ‘tse-tse fly, locust, leeches’ and also called for the ban of herdsmen from Southern Nigeria. The Fulani leader said further that if he did not apologise to the Fulani race, they would be forced to take legal action against him. “We want Femi Fani-Kayode to publicly withdraw his hate speech and wrongful criminal allegation against the entire Fulani race. and in particular, immediately to avoid legal action by us.” Bodejo called on President Muhammadu Buhari to ensure that peace and tranquility prevails in Nigeria and that public utterances by some Nigerian are str...

Drake Billboard Appears in Toronto

With  What a Time to Be Alive , "Hotline Bling","Back to Back", Coachella, and  If You're Reading This  dominating the Drake narrative in 2015, you may have forgotten that he's still got another album in the works called  Views From the 6 . And now, a billboard has appeared in Toronto with his 6 God logo and the words "The 6 is watching,"Complex points out. Drake posted the above image with the message, "Be home soon." This isn't the first time Drake has used Toronto billboards as a promotional tactic—he beefed with city officials over his oversized 2013  Take Care  ad.

36 Ministerial appointees storm Abuja for two day retreat

ABUJA-The two day retreat for 36 ministerial nominees who were recently screened and confirmed by the Senate recently would kick off today. Already, the ministers-designate, it was gathered, arrived Abuja last night. Venue of the retreat is the International Conference Center, ICC, Abuja. The event which would commence by 9:am is expected to be declared open President Mohammadu Buhari. It will be recalled that the last batch of the confirmed nominees names was submitted to the president at the presidential villa in Abuja by the president of the senate, Dr. Bukola Saraki on Tuesday which made the retreat possible. On Wednesday, the tennis star posted a long, entertaining story on Facebook about a man who snatched her phone when she was out to dinner. Maybe he didn’t realize she was a world-class athlete and international icon of badassery, because he apparently didn’t think she’d be able to catch him as he ran out of the restaurant.
