A Police constable went on rampage on a shooting spree on Friday in Yobe state, killing two inspectors before turning the gun on himself. The incident happened at about 6:40 am on Friday at Nengere Local Government area of the state following a disagreement among the policemen. The state police command spokesperson, ASP Toyin Gbadegesin confirmed the incident saying the two inspectors were confirmed dead but the constable was rushed to hospital in critical condition. Daily Trust correspondent reports that trouble started the inspectors were about to hand over morning duties at the Nengere police station. Police source revealed that the constable refused to take orders from the inspector on duty, and they both resolved to lock him (the killer constable) up in the station's cell.
