Place Youths In Leadership Positions, APC Youth Leader Tells Buhari.

The National Youth Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Ibrahim Dasuki Jalo, has asked the present administration as led by President Muhammadu Buhari to avail youths in the country an opportunity to occupy leadership positions in his government. Jalo said that while also asking the present government to put an end to the practice of ‘use and dump of the Nigerian youth after each election’. The APC Youth leader was speaking at a workshop organised for the APC youths by his office in collaboration with the International Republican Institute (IRI), with the theme ”the role of youths in post-election era” on Thursday in Abuja. “There is this saying that the youth are leaders of tomorrow but in Nigeria today, the tomorrow seems endless. After all we are leaders of today not tomorrow because we have waited long enough and this tomorrow remains an elusive business” Jalo said. Coldplay Share New Track "Everglow"

Coldplay's new album A Head Full of Dreams arrives December 4 via Parlophone/Atlantic. Today, Chris Martin stopped by Zane Lowe's Beats 1 radio show to discuss the record. He also shared another track from the album, called "Everglow". Listen to it below. Discussing the song, Martin said, "I was in the ocean one day with this surfer guy, who spoke just like you'd imagine a surfer guy to speak ... He was like, 'Yo dude, I was doing this thing the other day man, it gave me this total everglow!' I was like, 'What an amazing word!' Then the song came completely out. To me, it's about – whether it's a loved one or a situation or a friend or a relationship that's finished, or someone's passed away – I was thinking about, after you've been through the sadness of something, you also get this everglow. That's what it's about."

Faleke to INEC: I’m governor-elect of Kogi

Hon. James Faleke, the running mate to late Abubakar Audu, the candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Saturday’s governorship election in Kogi State, has written to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, asking the commission to declare him the governor-elect of the state. Faleke, made this known in a letter to INEC Chairman, Mahmood Yakubu. The lawmaker representing Ikeja Federal Constituency of Lagos State in the House of Representatives,  who expressed sadness over the death of Audu , opined that under Section 187 of the 1999 Constitution, he was duly elected as deputy governor of Kogi State. “In law and logic, no new candidate can inherit or be a beneficiary of the votes already cast, counted and declared by INEC before that candidate was nominated and purportedly sponsored,” Mr. Faleke wrote through his counsel, Wole Olanipekun. “Assuming without conceding that INEC is even right to order a supplementary election, the votes already cast, counted a...

My Near Crash Experience With Arik Air Yesterday

Please have the patience to read, Its from a blog reader 'I'm very sad as I recount this story, why is it that no media house or even bloggers carried the news about the near crash of an Arik Air plane heading to Johannesburg from Lagos (which I thank God, we all on board escaped unhurt) and the ill treatment that Arik officials gave we passengers especially the unprofessional attitude and treatment by the Duty Manager. Here is my story, I booked an Arik air flight heading to Johannesburg, South Africa from Lagos with flight number W3103. The flight was slated for 1.30 pm on the 24th of November 2015. I got to the airport around 11 am on this fateful day so I can check in and all that, now a flight that was slated for 1.30 pm after the normal Arik unexplained delay finally took off around 2.30 pm. On take-off, two birds mysteriously flew into the right engine causing the engine to shut down and two tyres getting busted, which forced the pilot to crash land. I thank God that ...
