Wizkid comes after popular blogger Linda Ikeji

Wizkid’s message to Linda Ikeji
Late last year, Linda Ikeji, popular female blogger did a report that the management of American Univerisity in Yola, Adamawa state paid Wizkid N8 million to come and perform and Wizkid didn’t honour the appointment.

In fairness to Linda, somebody tagged her to the report on Twitter but she did not hear WizKid’s own side of the story before going to press. The report later turned out to be false as the school management debunked the report.

WizKid did not take kindly to that false report, he insulted the blogger’s family and herself too on his Twitter page.

Last month, Linda was the first blogger to break the story of the arrival of Wizkid’s new baby from her American baby mama, a report that Wizkid did not confirm nor deny.

On Sunday, Wizkid took the fight further by tweeting a link to an article about Linda Ikeji that addresses Linda Ikeji’s “poverty mentality”, captioning it “nice read”.

The article addressed Linda’s ‘poverty mentality’, which is what the writer chose to call Linda’s obsession with reminding people that she is wealthy.

And in similar fashion, her fans followed suit in informing Wizkid that Linda was ‘richer’ than him.

“@wizkidayo @theNETng lol all ur earnings till u resign from music won’t get u up to her level. go to school first of all and get educated,” one Twitter user wrote.

Yesterday afternoon, Linda Ikeji subtly shaded the singer using another article. In an article where rapper, The Game, stood up for his baby mama against an internet troll. She titled the article, “When Your Baby Daddy Is Not A ‘Deadbeat’…”

This is in reference to an interview of Wizkid’s baby mama where his baby mama specifically called him a ‘deadbeat’.

Linda Ikeji further wrote in her article on The Game, “The Game swiftly responded, (unlike a deadbeat father who hasn’t started to cater for his child)”

The Ojuelegba crooner took to his snapchat account few hours ago to post this: “Almost 40, Lonely And Bitter”with the photo of the blogger to drive home his message.

Well, they said 2016 is going to be a year of drama so we are waiting.

Obasanjo's Plans for ING

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has set his mind on regime change “by fair or foul means” and is plotting to plunge Nigeria into crisis, presidential spokesman Reuben Abati has said. He was reacting to statements credited to Obasanjo on Saturday that President Goodluck Jonathan was plotting to win the 2015 general election by “hook or crook”. Obasanjo had endorsed Jonathan’s main challenger Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday, but then seemed to backtrack on Thursday. There are insinuations that Obasanjo is not well disposed to Buhari either and would want an interim national government (ING) to be headed by him to midwife new elections in which neither Jonathan nor Buhari would be candidates.

Regina Askia writes President Buhari on state of nation

Onetime actress turned nurse, Regina Askia Williams, has written to President Muhammadu Buhari on the state of nation. Thanking the president for his fight against corruption, the actress asked why there seem to be one unrest after the other in the country. “Thank you for all your effort at containing the corruption in Nigeria however unpopular," she began. Continuing, she wrote, 'Nigerians elected you through serious acrimony, loosing several lives and facing deadly unrest but they chose you. Though you are from the North of OUR country you are president of all. How is it that violence and deaths still hold sway? 'My hope and prayer was that on your ascension you would deploy our military with fiat and alacrity armed to the teeth and silence or at least contain Boko Haram. My prayer was that as a seasoned General you would not only flush out king pins and barons but retrieve the loot as you napped them one after the other but we see them working for you. Is th...
