Nigerian women rights advocates have mustered support for Lotanna Igwe-Odunze (@sugabelly), a young Nigerian lady who was allegedly serially gang-raped by the sons of the late former governor of Kogi State, Prince Abubakar Audu.

Taking the lead in efforts to stand up for Ms. Igwe-Odunze are former World Bank Vice-President (Africa Region), Dr. Oby Ezekwesili as well as Mrs. Abike Dabiri-Erewa a former Chairman of the House Committee on Diaspora Affairs.
Dr. Ezekwesili who confirmed on Friday that she was in touch with the mother of the sexual abuse victim vowed to pursue the matter until the facts are fully established and justice is done.

Mrs. Abike Dabiri on her part noted that she sponsored the bill on Violence Against Women and was ready to support Ms. Igwe-Odunze.
