Alfa', 3 others in prison for allegedly beheading 4-yr-old boy

An Islamic cleric has been arrested in Osun State for allegedly conniving with others to behead the a four-year-old boy for ritual purposes.

A 48-year-old Islamic cleric, also known as Alfa,Moshood Aremu, has been remanded in prison costudy alongside three other men for allegedly murdering a four-year-old boy in Osun State, reports Daily Post.
The verdict was handed down to the accused by an Osun State Magistrates’ Court sitting in Iragbiji in the state, for kidnapping and beheading the boy identified as Teslim Bakare.
It was gathered that Aremu and the others had lured the kid with a biscuit to where he was beheaded, allegedly for ritual purposes.
Appearing alongside Aremu before the Magistrate, Idowu Ajao, were Taju Ganiyu, 25;Wasiu Agboola, 31, and Ganiyu Abidoye, 60.
The prosecutor in the case, Taiwo Adegoke, said the four accused persons committed the offence on October 9, 2015, in the Ageblekale area of Iragbiji in Osun State.
When the charges were read to the accused, they pleaded not guilty and Ajao consequently ordered that they be remanded in prison custody till December 21, when the case will be up for mention.
