Succour has come to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Kabusa village in Abuja, as over 1,000 displaced persons get relief materials from the Nigeria Liquefied and Natural Gas (NLNG).
The donations were made under the “I Care Programme”, an initiative of the NLNG, which is targeted at IDPs across Nigeria.
According to the team, they have contributed both materials and cash to procure critical needs for the IDPs in the north-east and Edo State it the south-south
.
Part of the materials are food items and clothing.
Apart from the donations, the NLNG staff also ear-marked 15 million Naira, to make life better for the IDPs across the nation.
Meanwhile, Muna, a non-governmental organisation, who partnered with the NLNG in the intervention, urged the government and other corporate organisations to invest in education and security in the north-east.
