Discover Yourself

Imagine that I really was talking about a romantic relationship. What if your best friend who was no longer in love with his or her boyfriend/girlfriend, told you that he or she was getting married, because they did not want the past four years of their relationship to go to waste. If you are a good friend, you may tell your best friend that they did not waste their time. More than likely, they've grown and learned valuable life lessons that they can use moving forward. They probably have a better idea of what they like, and what they don't like. You may tell them that in the grand scheme of life, four years in a relationship is not enough time to justify an eternity of unhappiness. Now, look in the mirror and give yourself the same advice. Say, "Hey self, you have learned a lot! You have so many valuable, transferable skills." Now that they are gone, let's talk about your wasted time. Next we'll address the most pressing and complicated concern -- Mone...

SOME LESSONS OF LIFE

SOME LESSONS OF LIFE 1. Japanese have always loved fresh fish But the water close to Japan has not held many fish for decades. 2. So to feed the Japanese population, fishing boats got bigger and went farther than ever. The further the fishermen went, the longer it took to bring the fish If the return trip took more time, the fish were not fresh. 3. To solve this problem, fish companies installed freezers on their boats. They would catch the fish and freeze them at sea. Freezers allowed the boats to go farther and stay longer. However, the Japanese could taste the difference between fresh and frozen fish and they did not like the taste of  frozen fish The frozen fish brought a lower price. 4. So, fishing companies installed fish tanks. They would catch the fish and stuff them in the tanks, fin to fin. After a little thrashing around, they were tired, dull, and lost their fresh-fish taste. The fishing industry faced an impending crisis! 5. But today, they get fresh-...

PASTOR DISGUISES HIMSELF AS A DESTITUTE.

Pastor Jeremiah Steepek transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000- member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor that morning. He walked around the church for 30 minutes while it was filling with people for service in which only 3 people out of the about 10,000 people said hello to him. He asked people for change to buy food – no one in the church gave him change. He went into the sanctuary to sit down in the front of the church and was asked by the ushers if he would please sit in the back. He greeted people only to be greeted back with stares and dirty looks, with people looking down on him and judging him. As he sat in the back of the church, he listened to the church announcements and such. When all that was done, the elders went up and were excited to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation. “We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek.” The congregation looked around clapping with joy and anticipation. The hom...

WhatsApp stops support for certain mobile devices

As announced in our blog, we will soon be ending support for certain devices. At the end of 2016, we will no longer support the following platforms: BlackBerry, including BlackBerry 10 Nokia S40 Nokia Symbian S60 Android 2.1 and Android 2.2 Windows Phone 7.1 iPhone 3GS/iOS 6 These platforms don't offer the kind of capabilities we need to expand our app's features in the future. If you use one of these affected mobile devices, we recommend upgrading to a newer Android running OS 2.3+, a Windows Phone 8+, or an iPhone running iOS 7+ before the end of 2016 to continue using WhatsApp. Once you have one of these devices, simply install WhatsApp and verify your phone number on the new device to continue using WhatsApp. Keep in mind that WhatsApp can only be activated with one phone number on one device at a time. There is currently no option to transfer your chat history between platforms. However, we provide the option to send your chat history attached to an email. Lear...
