What Parents should look out for about Meningitis– Medical Experts

Some medical experts have advised Nigerians to seek early attention when ill especially if they are suspicious of meningitis because the disease is curable if presented early. The meningitis outbreak across several states has caused the death of over 282 people in the past two months. Adefunke Babatola, a paediatrician, has advised  that parents should take their children early to hospitals for diagnosis because the treatment is more successful if detected early. Do you take vitamin C with Fanta or Sprite? Court Orders NAFDAC To Inform People that it is harmful

It is poisonous to consume the popular soft drinks, fanta and sprite with vitamin C. A Lagos High Court ordered the National Agency For Food, Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC) to immediately direct the manufacturers of soft drinks; Fanta and Sprite (Nigeria Bottling Company PLC) to include a written warning that the content of the bottles cannot be taken with Vitamin C. This was the result from a suit filed against the NBC and NAFDAC by Lagos businessman, Dr Emmanuel Fijabi Adebo and his company, Fijabi Adebo Holdings Limited. His lawyer alleged that sometime in March, 2007, his client's company purchased large quantities of Coca-Cola, Fanta Orange, Sprite, Fanta Lemon, Fanta Pineapple and Soda Water from NBC for export to the UK for retail purposes and supply to their customers.
