Boko hara drug channel cut short

Following Army Headquarters directives  to troops in the North East for a painstaking search of motorists and cargoes, troops of the 3 Division Nigerian Army have intercepted and arrested some kingpins and foot soldiers of suppliers of Boko Haram terrorists with hard drugs and other stimulants between Depchi and Geidam, Geidam Local Government Area in northern part of Yobe State today. The arrested persons were also engaged in the supply of fuel in addition to hard drugs such as Cannabis (Indian Hemp), Chlorofone substance (AKA  Madaran suck and die) and Tramol, amongst others. You will recall that sometimes ago we reported that ironically most of the Boko Haram terrorists captured by Nigerian military cannot read the Holy Qur'an, some of them cannot even recite the first chapter- Suratuh Al-Fatiha and yet they claimed they wanted to establish an 'Islamic State'. Beyoncé Partners with Giuseppe Zanotti for Shoe Line

Beyoncé has worked the stage and red carpets in originals from famed shoe designer Giuseppe Zanotti plenty of times in the past, but now the superstar will be bringing her own design ideas to the brand with an exclusive partnership. Recently speaking with Forbes at his Zanotti showroom in Milan, the designer himself has revealed that he has a one-off shoe designed by Queen Bey scheduled for release in the coming weeks. I’m doing a shoe with Beyoncé right now,” Giuseppe said while sharing a sketch of the design to the writer, who was not allowed to share the image, but described the shoes as “ultra thick platform stilettos.” “Beyoncé has very clear ideas – she knows exactly what she wants,” stated Zanotti. “The thing which she then also has over other celebrities, is that she has an amazing voice. She’s incredibly talented and she’s an amazing dancer – she’s complete. Few are like Beyoncé. I’m working on finalizing the shoe with her stylist right now. And Beyoncé will then s...

Father Speaks Out About Touching Photo of Him Helping His Son Run in the Rain with a Prosthetic Leg

When JC Baltz signed up for a 2013 triathlon with his son Ben, he never imagined the race would change their lives – or touch so many other people's. "It was pouring cats and dogs and I'm wondering, why are we even doing this?" JC tells PEOPLE of the day he was photographed helping his now 14-year-old son who lost his leg to osteosarcoma in 2008. "I can't always hold his hand, but that day in the rain, I held his hand. I only really assisted him up a hill just to get him going."  Just 6 years old when his leg had to be amputated, Ben received a prosthetic leg one year later, enabling him to run. Since then he's completed at least 10 kids triathlons, and he also plays tennis, table tennis and baseball.  The photo at the race in Marianna, Florida first went viral in 2014 when JC's daughter Rachel submitted it to Runner's World 's cover photo contest. But last week the image resurfaced, gaining a new crop of fans.  "That photo of me...

2nd Niger Bridge: Oshiomhole Must Apologise To Nigerians, Say CSOs

The Coalition of Civil Societies for the Emancipation of Edo State, CCSE, has called on Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State to take the path of honour and apologise to Nigerians for misleading and misinforming them over his alleged statement that N140 billion had been expended on consultancy services for the 2nd Niger Bridge project and that $700 million was surreptitiously moved from the Sovereign Wealth Fund, SWF, for the same bridge. This is coming on the heels of the Nigerian Sovereign Investment Authority, NSIA’s, declaration, that it had only spent about N14 billion on the project and that the money include N10 billion as part of the N18.3 billion so far released by the Federal Government for the project, which had been disbursed for early construction work on the bridge. NSIA also said that about $2.2 million only had been spent as consultancy on the project, including feasibility studies, legal due diligence, environmental impact assessment, traffic studies, and engi...

Nigeria Withdraws Diplomatic Passports From Unauthorized Former Officials

Nigerian army, former diplomatic and official passport holders, on Monday found the documents to be worthless pieces of paper with the federal government announcing they have been revoked. Those affected by the order include former governors, legislators, Ministers, Commissioners, Special Advisers/Special Assistants, Chairmen/Deputy Chairmen of Local Governments, Heads of parastatals, and civil servants. A statement issued by the Comptroller-General of the Immigration Service, MK Abeshi, said the revocation followed a previous directive, and that the documents are to be returned to the Nigeria Immigration Service Headquarters in Abuja immediately. “Failure to comply with this directive will amount to an offence under the Immigration Act 2015,” he said, warning that further unauthorized possession will be impounded at Nigeria’s border control posts on arrival or departure.
